SC H.R. Silver Paint 250°C is based on a phenolic and bituminous binder system, providing exceptional mechanical strength and chemical durability. The coating cures at room temperature and develops a hard, tough film upon heating to 250°C. Once cured, it offers unmatched resistance to corrosion, moisture, and temperature variations — making it ideal for industrial and engineering applications.
This paint is designed to withstand continuous temperatures up to 200°C and intermittent heat exposure up to 250°C, making it suitable for exhaust systems, heat drums, furnaces, silencers, ovens, chimneys, and other heat-conducting components.
High Heat Resistance:
Withstands temperatures up to 250°C.

Proper surface preparation is essential for optimal performance.
Steel Surfaces: Remove grease, oil, and contaminants using degreasing solvent.
Blasting: For best results, blast clean to Sa 2½ (Swedish Standard SIS 05 5900).
Manual Cleaning: If blasting is not possible, use mechanical tools and wire brushing to achieve St 2 standard.
Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before applying the primer coat or SC H.R. Silver Paint.
Mix the contents thoroughly before and during application.
Apply by brush, roller, or spray gun with recommended thinner.
Brush/Roller: Up to 5% thinner if required.
Spray: Up to 10–15% thinner depending on spray conditions.
Allow overnight drying before recoating.
Do not apply when:
Temperature < 10°C or > 50°C.
Relative humidity > 90%.
During rain, fog, or mist conditions.
Clean brushes and spray equipment immediately after use with SC H.R. Thinner.
Use adequate ventilation during application. Avoid inhalation of vapors and contact with skin or eyes. Follow standard industrial safety precautions.
