SC HR TI 1800 with Binder is an advanced thermal insulation coating designed for ultra-high-temperature applications exceeding 1200°C and up to 1800°C. It is used in extreme industrial environments such as furnaces, reactors, and kilns. The coating provides exceptional thermal resistance, reduces heat loss, and improves energy efficiency. Its refractory composition ensures durability and stability under intense heat. The binder enhances adhesion and structural integrity. All products are Green Products and are manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, ensuring quality, reliability, and environmentally responsible production.
SC HRTI 1800 Water Base is designed for extreme high-temperature industrial applications, including:
Surface Preparation:
Clean the furnace or oven interior thoroughly using sandpaper to remove dust, carbon, rust, and contaminants. Ensure the surface is completely dry before application.
Mixing Process:
Mix 100 ml of binder with 600 ml of water (1:6 ratio).
Stir well until uniform.
Add 1 kg of SC HRTI 1800 powder to the mixture.
Blend thoroughly to obtain a homogeneous, lump-free paste.
Prepare only the required quantity for each coat to prevent premature hardening.
Application:
Apply the first coat evenly using a brush.
Allow to air dry for 4 hours.
Apply a second coat after the first has dried.
For adequate film build-up (200 microns), apply an additional coat if coverage exceeds 12 sq. ft/kg.
Curing:
After application, let the coated surface air dry for 4 hours.
During the first furnace firing, increase the temperature gradually at 50°C per hour up to the desired operating temperature.
This controlled heating ensures full curing and optimal adhesion of the coating film.
